Rotimi Akeredolu Is Ondo’s Governor-Elect

The Ondo state governorship election was tightly contested as Rotimi Akeredolu, Eyitayo Jegede, and Olusola Oke all looked to take over from Olusegun Mimiko. With the declaration of results from the 18 local governments in the state, 13 local governments were won by Rotimi Akeredolu.

Results from Ilaje local government will not be ready until 11am but the lead Akeredolu has is such that it is mathematically impossible for anyone to win the elections.
