The Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) in Kano country has declared Alhaji Tasi’u Ibrahim of the All Progressives Congress because the winner of the state house of assembly by-election in Minjibir.
The INEC returning Officer, Prof Abu Mohammed, announced that the APC candidate, emerged winner by means of polling 21,970 votes to defeat his closest rival, Alhaji Auwalu Ubale of the human beings’s Democratic celebration (PDP) who scored 1,238 votes.
it might be recalled that the election which become carried out initially on April 30 turned into canceled midway due to violence.
Prof Abu however, praised the celebration leaders and the candidates for his or her cooperation and information at some stage in the election duration, he also commended protection employees for his or her efforts in the course of and after the elections.
